Good community health work listens, observes and learns.

HIF uses research and reflection to understand health priorities, improve how activities are delivered and share useful learning. This work may include reviewing evidence, gathering feedback, documenting implementation and collaborating with academic or community partners.

Start with a useful question
Research should be relevant to the people and settings involved. HIF considers what is already known, what a partner wants to understand and whether the proposed approach is appropriate and feasible.

Learn responsibly
Any data collection must have a clear purpose, suitable consent and privacy protections. HIF does not publish personal or identifiable information without appropriate permission and safeguards.
